Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most about car transport and import. If your question isn't here, message us on WhatsApp.

Car transport

How much does it cost to ship a car from the Canary Islands to mainland Spain?

It depends on the island, the destination, the service (door to door or at the port) and the type of vehicle. For small vehicles, prices start from €600. Choose your route in the planner and we'll reply on WhatsApp with the exact price.

How long does a transport take?

The ferry between the Canary Islands and mainland Spain takes about 36 hours; to the Balearics, between 2 and 9 hours depending on the island and the departure port. Then you add the road legs and the wait for the next sailing. We give you the estimated time when we confirm the route.

Can I leave the car at the port instead of at home?

Yes. You can choose door to door, and we collect or deliver it at the address you give us, or at the port: Huelva or Cádiz on routes with the Canary Islands, and Barcelona on routes with the Balearics.

Do you ship cars from Europe to the Canary Islands or the Balearics?

Yes, both ways: between the Canary Islands or the Balearics and mainland Spain or any European country.

Do you move cars between the Canary Islands?

Yes. We take the car from one island to another by ferry without you having to travel with it, for example from Gran Canaria to Tenerife.

How are boats and jet skis shipped?

On trailers or, failing that, in a container.

What documents do I need to ship my car?

The vehicle's technical data sheet with a valid ITV inspection, the vehicle insurance and the registration certificate. Between the Canary Islands and mainland Spain or the Balearics there is also a customs formality.

Car import

Which countries do you import cars from?

From all over Europe. The most common countries are Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Italy, delivered to the Canary Islands or mainland Spain.

Do I need to have already chosen the car?

No. You can pick one from the catalogue, tell us what you're looking for (make, model, budget and year) so we find it for you, or send us the link to the listing you've already found.

Do you inspect the car before buying it?

Yes. We inspect it in the country of origin and do a full check of all components, inside and out, plus diagnostics, a paint test and a complete report on the whole vehicle before the purchase is closed.

Who do I pay for the car?

We never handle your money. Once the vehicle is in good condition and has passed our quality standards, the customer makes a direct bank transfer to the dealer.

Who handles the registration paperwork?

We handle the transport and import documents. The steps differ depending on whether the car is registered in the Canary Islands or on the mainland.

How we work

How do I book you?

On WhatsApp. Use the route planner or the import form and WhatsApp opens with your message already written. You can also message us directly.

How is the service paid?

For transports, payment is split in two: 70% in advance to cover logistics costs and the remaining 30% once the vehicle has been delivered. For imports, taxes, import costs and fees are paid 100% in advance.

Where are you based?

In the south of Tenerife (San Miguel de Abona). We work on WhatsApp with customers on every island, mainland Spain and Europe.
