How we import your car
Search and selection
We search the European market and suggest options that match your criteria and budget. If you already have the listing, we start there.
Negotiation
We talk to the dealer or seller to get the best price and terms.
Inspection at origin
We inspect the vehicle in the country of origin before the purchase is closed: components, diagnostics, paint test and a full report.
Transport and paperwork
We bring the car to the Canary Islands or mainland Spain and handle the documents.
The Canary Islands and the mainland are not the same
The steps to register an imported car depend on where it will be driven. We explain the ones that apply to you before we start.
If you receive it in the Canary Islands
The Canary Islands are outside the EU VAT area: the car enters with a customs declaration, IGIC is paid instead of VAT and, where applicable, registration tax. It then passes the ITV inspection and is registered with the DGT.
If you receive it on the mainland
Within the European Union there are no customs: the car passes an import ITV inspection, the applicable taxes are paid (VAT if it is new, registration tax depending on emissions) and it is registered with the DGT.

Questions about importing
Which countries do you import cars from?
From all over Europe. The most common countries are Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Italy, delivered to the Canary Islands or mainland Spain.
Do I need to have already chosen the car?
No. You can pick one from the catalogue, tell us what you're looking for (make, model, budget and year) so we find it for you, or send us the link to the listing you've already found.
Do you inspect the car before buying it?
Yes. We inspect it in the country of origin and do a full check of all components, inside and out, plus diagnostics, a paint test and a complete report on the whole vehicle before the purchase is closed.
Who do I pay for the car?
We never handle your money. Once the vehicle is in good condition and has passed our quality standards, the customer makes a direct bank transfer to the dealer.
Who handles the registration paperwork?
We handle the transport and import documents. The steps differ depending on whether the car is registered in the Canary Islands or on the mainland.
